"We Must Become the Change We Want To See." Ghandi
Jessica works with families, adult individuals and children. Her therapeutic orientation is integrative, allowing her to draw from more than one psychological theory and technique. While she has been trained in solution focused therapy she has also furthered her education post masters degree and studied in transpersonal psychology.
In addition to her integrative approach, Jessica offers her clients the opportunity to make use of "Sand Play" as a therapeutic technique. She obtained post graduate training and is currently listed as a Certified Systemic Sandtray Therapist (CSST) in the state of Colorado.
Jessica has ran groups for high risk adolescents as well as survivors of sexual trauma. She believes each client is unique which is why specific techniques used in therapy are always tailored to meet the needs of her clients.
She has also worked in a residential treatment facility for girls, which has allowed her to empathize with the difficulties families have when children are sentenced due to mental health court, truancy court or legal situations due to misdemeanors or felonies children can be charged with.
Lastly, Jessica has been trained in MST (multi systemic) in-home therapy and has worked with delinquent youth, youth that are on probation, split families, blended families and those families whose children are detained at local corrections, detentions and inpatient treatment centers.
